Welcome to Silent Book Club at The Evergreen: Southern Kitchen and Gathering Place. We love to help cultivate a sense of community through gathering–that includes gathering with book enthusiasts! Join us every Thursday starting April 25th, any time from 11:30-1 p.m., at 400 Evergreen Road, Frankfort, Kentucky, where we celebrate the simple pleasure of getting lost in a good book for an hour.
Our club is a haven for book lovers–introverts and extraverts–who seek a respite from their daily lives to find the joy in simply reading in good company. Bring your favorite book, eBook, audiobook, magazine, whatever you are currently reading, and join us. No reading lists or discussion prompts. We’ll gather, order from the cafe menu, read for an hour, and, if you’d like to stay, give book recommendations for the last 15-30 minutes.
